Honda's Baby NSX Emerges As Sports Vision Gran Turismo Concept
Don't like the NSX V2.0? Honda has a car for you.
It doesn't exist in the real world (yet) but you can always dream or drive it in a virtual environment.
1982 lbs due to carbon fiber-intensive construction
2.0T with 400 hp
8spd DCT

All the speculating about a fullsized mock up of this car, and those patent filings...
I feel like Honda trolled the f*ck out of us here.

Hell yes! As long as it isn't FWD.
Edit: And $100k would be way too much.

I'd say the same as long as a manual is in the deal.
And lets put a stop to all the "it has to cost $X" right here. Just about everybody says "If they make an S2000 replacement it would have to cost high $40's to high $50'sbecause of A,B and C." Mazda makes an lightweight bespoke platform for a low volume sports car that starts under $25k and they don't have anywhere near the resources of Honda. If Honda wanted they could throw together that body, slap the type R engine in it and sell it mid to high thirties. The only cars left in that area are lower level Camaro's, the Mustang, and the 370z. There is plenty of room for something from Honda without getting ridiculously expensive. It does not have to be less than 2,000 pounds or have 400hp to sell like hotcakes.

I agree. 3000 lbs with that engine would be a great little car. It looks to have very tidy dimensions as well.
I'd prefer a manual but could live with DCT. Look at how quick the Audi TT-RS is with that kind of power and a DCT. It's quicker than hypercars from 15 years ago and as quick as supercars of today in day-to-day driving speeds.
