How Rice Are You?

I'm too old to have ever been a ricer, though my first car, a Datsun 510 that I bought in about '78, spent some time lowered waaaay more than it should have been. I eventually figured out that it handled a lot better if it had some suspension travel. That's why my S2K on Ohlins rides at stock height.

In 2004-ish I had an 89 240SX hatch with a blacktop SR20DET and S15 T28. No hood, no interior, driver seat front bolts were stripped out and it was held down by a bunch of zipties. I don't know how I didn't die in it

That Grand National would be fun. Love those cars!
I found some entertainment in the first F&F, but was never into ricey stuff. I modfied the gauge cluster and HVAC board in my Scion tC so it would properly power blue LEDs since the orange stock ones sucked. Added separate red lighting behind the gauge needles. That is about as close to ricey as I ever got. That turned into a side business for a while :P Still drive that car as my daily and still like my VW like gauges and dash!
Never liked body kits, big wings unless they were functional and on a track car, etc. Not into lambo doors or any of that stuff. I was always more into more tasteful mods on my cars, and once I got into autocross all my mod money went into suspension and tires!
I did get a good laugh at the "serious racers" on F&F who had hundreds of pounds of audio/video equipment, video game systems, etc installed in their "race" cars though lol. But hey, when you live life "8 seconds at a time" you can do whatever you want right?

The riceiest thing I ever did was change my oil filler cap in my S2000 to a bronze non-authentic ebay "Mugen" filler cap. Oh and I bought a used Mugen header. Neither were visible, I give myself a 1% rice level.
