Default I bought a WRX today!! details inside

I didnt buy it brand new from the dealer, but from a private party. My loan apr is 6.79%.

You can get a new WRX with no options from the dealer for 23k out the door + tag/title, with a loan arp of 6.49%

The WRX I bought has almost all the options (about 27.5k msrp + other fees), prepaid maintence until 45k, aftermarket full leather seats front and back, and a $2.5k stereo upgrade........ the 30 year old Cheif Techinical Officer that I bought the car from has almost 30k tied up in it, he is buying an Audi AllRoad...

Here are the details:

Silver 2002 WRX (8400 miles) sedan with the following:

- Absolutely perfect condition - spotless.
- Katzkins aftermarket two tone black and grey leather (looks awesome - $1k value)
- Air filtration system
- Armrest extension
- Auto-dimming mirror/compass
- Rear spoiler
- Security System Upgrade Kit
- WRK Performance Guage Pack
- Short throw shifter (Subaru installed)
- Subwoofer/Amplifier
- Upgraded speakers
- Prepaid scheduled maintenance plan (covers all services until 45000 miles)

also includes

(system was $2k new):
Head unit: Alpine CDA-7873, and XM Radio
Amp: Alpine MRV-F357 (5 channel)
Front Speakers: A/D/S/ 236IS component
Rear Speakers: A/D/S/ 234IM coaxial
Sub: JL Audio CS110W3 sealed box
and Alpine XM Radio adapotor and antenna

Some pics:

Anyone want to guess what I paid? Im curious to what everyone see's its value at.

DJSang, thanks for the compliment!

BayArea, my impressions... well... the car is slow down low like the S, the S picks up at 6k, while this picks up at 3k.. the AWD is F U N! ! I was taking turns like no other!! The gearbox feels a little notchier than the S, but its expected. I bought this though because i needed 4 seats because of the little one I have on the way, plus, I've never owned a turbo car, and cant wait to mod the shizzzy out of this one. Ive already ordered a TurboXS Unichip and Turbo Back Exhaust, next round will be bigger turbo and injectors! Im so ready!

Sumir, you dont like the seats??? Have you seen the stock ones? You would like them compared to how they look. Ill post a pic of stock seats in a second.

No comment on the price yet, Id like to hear what a few more of you would have considered paying for it. So please people, how much would you have paid?

i like the seats but i feel they would more at home in say an IS300 instead of WRX, too luxurious. Ahh the joys of turbo!!

I LOVE the WRX. My wife had a headache for two hours after our test drive. You can drive that car like a complete idiot and it will gladly do your bidding. Very forgiving and really fun after 3,000 rpm.

Good choice! The dealer we visited was only going about $500 under MSRP. Couldn't even begin to hazard a guess at what you might have paid.

Some cars I think are better bought used but cars like the S2k and the WRX - I just feel better being the one breaking them in...

Have fun - I know you will!
