I drove a BRZ and hated it

Mr.E.G., nothing about your review surprises me. And on top of all the engine qualms, it's not a very reliable engine either!
IF the BRZ had an engine like the K20 and only had 200 hp I think a lot of us would be okay with it.
When I bought my BRZ I thought the handling would dazzle me enough to forgive the engine but it didn't. I feel very strongly that voiding factory warranties are foolish and irresponsible, but I'm sure some of you recall I went to forced induction 9 months after buying my BRZ. The engine is just that bad.
There's no BRZ STI coming any time soon. And that concept shown above had the EJ20 racing engine underhood.
Agreed, and that's what I don't get. The 240SX was never a huge sales success here. So why the would an automaker try to replicate one for modern times. Makes no F'ing sense.

It could be better, but it's a good car. It's basically the new Silvia that Nissan should have given us a long time ago... only without the huge benefit of a turbo.

Nobody has a problem with this car's handling stock. It's all engine.
Better tires don't change that.

Yep, I blasted away from the scion dealership in the WRX thinking "this is what the car should feel like" and bought my second S2000 for about 10 grand cheaper than a new FR-S.

I let a friend of mine take my AP2 up to the Dragon a month or so ago, and I had use of her FRS for a week. Long story short, she wants an S2000.
