I hate Hyundai..But
With Toyota and the 86 platform, the supra coming back, talks of a new mr2. Mazda still chugging away with Miatas..
What if this happens? https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.s2k...5834303382.jpg https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.s2k...42cf56c78a.jpg https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.s2k...bf5e997b80.jpg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.s2k...81d76b3f80.jpg Roadster with a hardtop option in Hyundai N lineup... hmmm |
That...actually looks really good.
|
Other than the grill, not bad.

Don't be a numb driving experience... Don't be a numb driving experience... Don't be a numb driving experience... Don't be a numb driving experience...

Its got alot of things the S has aesthetic wise... some of the lines are really similar.(the rear and top down shots, and hood lines)
I hope the trend doesn't end, and sports cars make a come back. |
I see a lot of S2000 there, mainly in the long hood/short trunk aspect. I like it a lot! I wouldn't buy it new but I'd buy it used, if it had decent power. Big depreciation and a big warranty would work well for me.
That looks a million times better than the new Supra or BMW Z4, to my eye. |
Neat. Unfortunately not even a real concept. But I'd drive it.

Why do you hate Hyundai? I hate Honda because they don't make an S2000. Not really but that makes more sense than hating Hyundai.
It sounds like Hyundai doesn't intend to make this car but it's a shame. It looks good and Hyundai is heading in a great direction with what they've been doing to make more fun to drive cars. |
I'd love to see a Korean made full on sports car or roadster. They can certainly offer a lot for the money if they thought the market was there. Is there really a market?
|
I'd consider it. Not my first choice but if that were priced at about $30k like their other N's, sure. Especially if it is RWD with a stick.
