Default i'm going to look at a RSX Type S?

Right now i've got a 99 honda passport and it gets terrible milage and just feels way underpowered. its got some problems with it that are very minor.

i decided to look for a RSX type S and i found a white 2006 about an hour away from me with under 10k miles on it. the seller is asking $11K.

I emailed him and i'm going to look at the car tomorrow but should i be worried about his asking so little for the car? He said it has a clear title and is in hand. i saw the pics of it and it look immaculate.

if its clean and drives right should i scoop it up? Its the color i want and a good price. i wanted to spend under 10k on one but all i keep finding is 02-04 with 80k+miles for 8-9k

I was looking at an RSX-S about 6 months ago, and if memory serves me correctly, the Type-S had transmission problems as early as 30k miles. Otherwise, their amazing little cars.

Something's up, that's too cheap. If not, tell me where it is so I can beat you to it.

Yea I had one it was pretty nice but not as good as the s. if I could have both that would have been great.

Mine had 60k on it by the time I sold it and I never had a problem.. only had it for about 6k miles though.

i ran the carfax. it was a lease car for 1.5 yrs and then purchased by the current owner. When it had 12 miles on it (not a typo, 12) there was a slight accident with the front right. when it had 4k miles there was a moderate accident with the front left.

carfax used the terms slight and moderate. the report says its worth $330 less than book value with its carfax report

should i stay away or still look at it, drive it and check it over? i'll check for the vin on the fenders and front bumper and maybe get the price down some since these wont match
