Under 10K miles yet two accidents? He isn't much of a driver...

My wife loves her RSX-S. I think it's an OK car.

Why? It's cheap and for a daily driver. Not like he is planning to auto cross or track it.

I don't see how tracking it would make a difference. I'd still buy a wrecked car to track.

Depends on what the accidents were.. If we're talking new front bumper I wouldn't let it stop you. If it's structural, walk away.

I had a base RSX, good car. Type-S is known to have some 2nd gear issues. The car has a massive turning radius which kinda sucked. Generally I really liked it.

i actually love my type-s for a daily driver. the third gear pop out isnt that bad.. rarely gets me. no second gear grind here.. and insurance is cheap 727 a year about 60.60 a month. its a fun little car. steering is really tight. overall good car and good value , stereo sucks balls

accidents can be reported as minor.. you never know. but pictures of the accident should be good if they have any. get it inspected. id myself prefer not to buy cars that have been in accidents. its a pet peeve i would say

i had 02 type s before and it's fantastic car. good gas mileage and decent power but yes it's got tranny issues 2nd gear will pop out. i learned to drive with my right hand firmly on shifter until my clutch is completely depressed. never had cold grind issues though.
