No I passed him. Rather ignominiously however, I was passed by a Miata. But in my defense, he was running r compound tires AND we were limited to a top speed of 95mph. So I could not offset his advantage of braking and higher corner speed with my advantage in HP.

I am not sure this is an argument you want to make when you are trying to say your car is a great handler.
Let me try. "My Toyota Highlander is predictable and cotrollable. I could give a shit who is faster around a track. Therefore my Toyota Highlander is a great handling car." Wow, that was easy.
