This is my 12’ Tahoe LT Texas edition. This bad boy went 160,000 trouble free miles before 5 dipshits on their cell phones wrecked coming down a overpass, when I crested the top there was no stopping me unfortunately. So, I would bet money they total it, crushed shock tower, broken motor mount and enough plastic clips and plugs to nickel and dime anyone to death! Plus the rear bumper and hatch are dented in from the 4 people that hit me from behind. 2012, LT, 163,000 miles. NADA around 16k clean retail.

I'd bet that's totaled, needs to hit 75% of insurability value, so ~12k. I'd say your prob there. Glad you are alright.

I agree it could be fixed, I’m just hoping the the hit in value at 160k miles will total it, it’ll need all the underhood AC components, radiator, core support, headlights, motor mounts, intake, new shock towers welded in, front bumper, rear bumper, fended, hood, rear deck repaired, the wreck cracked the dash pretty bad. Hopefully they scrap it.

Well **** , Allstate guy said that it would total no problem, calls back 2 hours later and says no, they may fix it. Body shop is too busy to tear down to do a in depth inspection so now I have to sit on it for a week ugh.

silver lining, actual cash value came back through Allstate at 16.8k , my payoff is only 5k, surely with CarMax I can unload it and pocket some cash, only if it a little bit.

With that cash value though I hope to god they can total it on repair cost. I’ll be drunk for a week.
