Impulse buy
Well I had to pull the trigger. I bought a 2017 limited wrx last year . Wasn't happy with it. Today I traded it in for a 2018 STI. Pick her up on Thursday . Borla exhaust will be here Friday

I drove a 2018 last yr and enjoyed it alot over the wrx. I loved playing with the sport modes and it had the recaros. The one I bought unfortunately didn't. My wrx was a limited . Can you tell me what u didn't like? Did the 2016 come with the touch screen head unit?

For a daily driver I just got tired of all of this. I had some other complaints like the laggy touch screen, poor range per tank (had to fill up all the time), and honestly the car was pretty slow after 60 mph but I was paranoid to mod it for fear of the motor blowing up and being denied warranty on a new 40k car so I sold it after a year and 2,300 miles of driving. Oh yeah it was also a cop and ricer/douche bag street racer magnet. I got my first ticket in years doing 10 over.

Oh darn . I'm not worried about the cops, since I am one haha. But thanks for the input. I only spent a few minutes driving one but I liked it so much over my wrx. I am a ricer at heart though .

Cool pickup, congrats! With all the hot discussion lately over hot hatches, did you cross shop the R, RS, Type R?

I didn't cross shop. I watched everyday driver do a review on the R RS and sti. The type r was out of the picture caus I wanted a DD. So fwd was out of the option. Then I'm not a fan of volswagon or domestics. Plus now I can say I own an evo and sti haha

Nice, congrats on the upgrade! Enjoy that boxer rumble once your Borla arrives, it really adds to the whole Subaru experience IMO. The STi feels like a much sharper car than the WRX
