Thats just dumb. Just throw the new type-r turbo engine in there and be done with it.

I actually really like this idea. It wouldnt be a competitor of the s2k obviously, but its a start. If it were as light as it says then it would be a mean autocrosser for sure. I think a small, reliable, fun, and cheap car would sell very well from honda, provided that it isnt as numb and dull as the mrs.

I disagree... they already set the bar perfectly with the S2K as we all know as owners and thanks to all of the publications we've seen where the car has been praised. They should only be going up from what they created, not backwards. I mean for crying out loud they're moving forward with a boosted CTR pushing around 275hp, a new roadster should AT LEAST be equal to that... if not superior IMO.

Geez... tough crowd here. I, for one, would welcome a car like this. Basically it would be a Miata fighter (maybe more), which is certainly better than what's currently in their lineup.

whoa... well... considering who knows what is going to come out of Honda..

lines are nice.. fronts different and alright, backs rather nice... strong side lines an reminds me of a jaguar E type curve to the rear wheel area...

wheels are killer...

would like to have seen the interior...

myself, I would like to see Honda surprise us all with something different... but, of course keeping in line with the S series... seems they did design and build a rather remarkable car in the S2000... Would an entry level S1500 fit in a market and maybe say compete for the miata world... too much to ask... is the car even going to be offer to the US market...

If a starting point is regression, then why start there?
