Like I said, it's all in good humour. Maybe you disagree, that's your opinion and you're entitled to it. However, I'm sure all this is said with no malice in mind. The show is made with the British public in mind and this is the kind of humour they like. It's not like American mags and show have never made fun of brits and their teeth, brit cars and their electronic gremlins etc. etc. Sit back, relax and enjoy the entertainment value of Top Gear. IMO the best autmotive show on TV today.
Second.

American car magazines don't discourage people from buying British cars because the British have yellow teeth.

I get the humor, I find it funny, for the most part. However, to get hung up on something and go ON and ON about it, and be WRONG is just obnoxious.

An example would be an American magazine/show railing on and on about poor electronics on British cars from the 60's as a reason not to buy a modern car that has had LESS than it's fair share of electrical problems.

Pick any review of any car. I guarantee you'll laugh at least once.
You got me there. I couldn't help but chuckle at one item in all of the articles. Clarkson is a formidable auto reviewer, no question about that. He can be a little cruel at times, but what the hell? Good call on the aricles!

I think Top Gear is the most interesting car show around. Tiff, granted that he is a good driver, doesn't have a lot of variation in character. And Fifth Gear is no where as interesting as the little adventures that Clarkson devises. I especially liked the episode with the Porsche challenge. That was quite a laugh. haha
