Why a supercharger exactly?

First off, the Cosworth's fit, finish, and attention to detail is as good or better than any FI kit I've ever seen - looks OEM quality.

Secondly, turbos typically run too hot @ the track, and I don't want to deal w/ thermal management issues.

Last but not least, can you blame me for passing this deal up? I almost feel like I stole it!

I think it will be plenty fast enough!

nice find. for two grand i would have been all over that.

another thing to consider if this is going to be a track car is the spec miata class. it is fairly cheap, and a hell of a good time.

FOr a 99, I'd do a BRP MP62 Hotside, but I am not impartial.

$2k? I want one, too. If I could find a good condition Miata for $2k, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

Wow. Crazy deal. Hell, you could do up a "decent" paintjob at the price you paid and still be ahead of the game (if the green makes you too angry).

In for pics of the green weenie!

$2k for such low miles and a fun daily driver or whatever you want to do with it!

Lucky, did you get it from a friend, ebay?

I second the MP superchargers, alot of street legal power, but it is pricey.
