lol 6 speed is full of elitist pricks although there are some geniunely nice people over there.

and that watch dealer is right up there with them. im guessing it was Stryke?
100k was a very incorrect price. They are about 140 for an 04.

Yes Stryke is the bastage.

I was in was last weekend and the e-gear broke, left us stranded. It was an '04, though the shop had an '06 with the same problem.

I'm appreciating the low operating cost and the reliability of our little Hondas.

You could buy a new S2000 every year with the maintenance and depreciation of those things.

I'd have to be making 7-figures before I could be comfortable pissing away that kind of money.

Porsches are bargains compared to the Lambos.

I went to 6speedonline and learned less than what Seung told me. I made a mistake in the pricing ( an 05 is more like 160 k) and was raked over the coals by those aholes, expecially some new york watch seller.

I probably shouldn't get a lambo, I'm not enough of an ahole.
Try a forum called Lamborghini-talk dot com.

Watch boy was butt hurt as a child. He and I had issues and I offered to meet him face to face on our way to Germany last year for the F1 race. Typical loud mouth New Yorker, he claimed he couldn't get away, I offered to take a taxi and he hung up on me. I was beyond plssed at that time.

Your amended number are closer to true market price here in the Republik of Cali, some mid west cars may be a little cheaper. Flappy paddles are cool to drive but will cost you in the long run. ) 04 models in a certain vin range had a oil leak problem.

BTW your definitely Lambo material

Raj...sorry about the warm reception on 6speed. The watch guy is a bit of a "if you have to ask than you'll never know" type douche. The superiority complex comes from his multiple years of duping idiots to buy his stuff. Also, there is the whole newbie quotient. For all they know you could just be a bored 15 year old. Again, apologies.

Got a friend who has a Gallardo and a Modena. Running costs for the Modena last year was a few thousand bucks (pretty much just new tires and oil change), whilst the Gallardo had to go through some 15k in repairs...

He said his Gallardo has so far been a great car when it works, but has annoying stuff going on now and then. It's a slightly older one tho', and supposedly 06 and especially 07 models have far better reliability.

no problem, In they end after some ribbing they came around and were being pretty cool.

I'm sure when you get that high end in cars you get the 'who's dick is bigger (or smaller)' contests. It's easy to lose perspective when you have more money.

I'm just trying to understand why a simple oil chage (oil and filter) costs 650-800 bucks?!?!

Once you buy a an exotic car, everything is up in price. This mean even the simplist service. I work for a MB dealership, we had to service a SLR. The charges came out to be 4,000 dollar for a 10,000 miles services. The next one at 20,000 miles would run that person close to 7000 dollars.
