add BMW (M6), Benz (SL coupe), Jag (F-type), Audi (S5), etc, I'd expect at least 25,000 units / year.

I went with the NSX as they're both Japanese and new(ish). I don't think I'd use the 911 as a comparison to the LC as they really aren't competitors.
6 series sales were 223 for January, that includes all 4 models.

Hey Saki Did not say it was a Good Value ! My main point was the Styling of almost everything is so generic that something like this blows the mind that an automaker would actually make something interesting for ONCE.
I am with you on the F type and watching those used values fall !

LC is definitely more along the lines of tourer in the GT spectrum than a 911, but for a sporty coupe with a semblance of a back seat, the 911 was the first thing that came to mind when I saw the LC...
They may not be direct competitors but I think they are playing in the same market, especially given the number of people that buy automatic 911s for daily commutes and showing off.

These cars have very nice interiors... except for the weird antlers sticking out on either side of the gauge cluster. What the heck were they thinking?

The LF-A had those too, and I think some other Lexuses also do. They remind me of Frankenstein (doesn't really bother me though).
