Interesting. I wonder if conditions were faster this year than last. The reason why I ask is the ZR1 soundly beat the GT-R's time but the two times were recorded on different days. Is the difference because the Corvette is faster on this track or because the GT-R's time was from a day when the track was slower.
Yes, I'm fueling the GT-R flames
The Nissan seems to be the real disappointment. Slow lap times... and really really bad brakes.

big and curvy... i'd hit it 2 times... I like something I can hold on to... the gtr fits the bill just right. Could use bigger rubbers though. She wears through them quickly.

I got in a few laps at my local track in a Genesis Track 2.0T last weekend, and was impressed, if not blown away. Handled nice, comfy, decent power that can be easily boosted. I'm starting to think the Gen Coupe might be more desirable than the 370Z, which looks worse the more I learn about it.

Sparrow and I went to a nissan dealership to test the 370z. We were so dissapointed in the cars drivetrain. As Sparrow put it, it was like shifting a dump truck. And for me, I shift so quickly that it felt like the rear diff hit the ground and came back up again and had that split second delay before the power pushed again.
As you can see the drivetrain is equally important to me as the motor lol.
That's great another person liked the Gen Coupe turbo Confidence booster

Why can't manufacturers put in top notch brake fluid for their performance cars? I think that was the primary issue with the 370Z. Bad brake fluid that boiled over and bye bye brakes.
Either way, the 370Z is a no go in my book. Engine also supposedly sounds like a UPS truck at high revs.

seriously, the stick in the Z was atrocious, shockingly so... everything else was cool though. The rear end in the Z comes out progressively thats for sure lol. I also expected more powerful feel of tq. Nonetheless it was a nice car for sure. Would buy something else for pure sports fun though. I wouldn't go as far to say that the Gen coupe is more attractive. Its just better than expected.
