Default Looking for two used cars

I need some opinions on used cars. Both me and my sis have about 10k to go look for a used car.

For my sis, she would like a reliable car, and obviously I thought of Civics and Corollas, but are there any other choices?

I know that KBB is only accurate to an extent, but with 10k, can I score a 06 Civic? Or maybe even a Fit?

As for myself, any sporty car is fine, preferably rear wheel drive. I really have my eyes fixed on the S2000, but it seems hard to find one.

What should I do..?

Personally, my sister's Corolla would be off the list. It likely will keep running but so much of the trim and the like is cheap and falling off well before it's time. Civics are good but man are they over priced used. I would suggest looking at cars like Nissans, Focus or Fusion (a car with an excellent service record), perhaps some Hyundais. Basically, there are plenty of good used cars that don't have Civic resale values. That mean you actually get a later model car with less miles for less money.

Do you mean two cars for $10k each, or two cars for $10k total?

At 10K you can def. score a 2000 S2000.

Last post of this decade for me, I'm off to drink ''a little'' with some friends and plan on spending about 100$ worth in taxis going back and forth between house parties!

My car is staying in my garage for the next 48 hours as I will need time to recup from the future hangover.

Cheers and happy new years everyone.

For you I'd get a newer, lower mileage Miata. See if you like having a roadster then get an S later if you decide it's for you.
