M Roadster
So my dad has been trying to sell his beautiful M roadster for the last two months and he hasn't gotten a single caller. What's going on? Is there any reason the market is so poor? His car is absolutely perfect and yet we can't seem to find a single interested buyer.

If I was looking for an M roadster, I wouldn't look for it on craig list. I'd go to autotrader.com I dunno, when I think craigslist, I think daily driver civic or something...

Hey Saint,
Yeah, I agree, but this is just one of the many ads he's posted. In addition to posting it on autotrader, he's posted it in the roadfly BMW forums. ehh...I don't get it . If any of you are interested in it or know of anyone who would be, shoot me a PM. It's quite a steal if I say so myself

The price is in the title. Nice car btw. Same thing happened to my dad when he was trying to sell his S400. No bites on Craigslist or local papers. After a week, I tried again on Craigslist with better pics and different text. He got a reply that day. Could be just the time the ad was submitted. I like Craigs but too many scams nowadays. Sold my S4 in 1 hour after it was posted.

As you said, some of it could just be bad timing. Although, he's lowered the price several times and tried resposting it a couple times and still no bites. Given the condition of his car and the rarity of the M roadster, I'm a bit confused why nobody is interested. Oh well...maybe I'll just buy it myself

It still may be priced too high. Even though it is rare, there are still many roadsters (S2000, AudiTT, Boxter, etc) that compete with it. I have seen more 2000 Ms for 22K-23K than 26K. The 2001 with the E46 engine are over 30K but they have 310HP vs 240 in your fathers.
