If he really wants to get rid of it, he should list it on eBay at the lowest price he can stomach. One week later, he'll have sold the car.

"Autotrader & Cars.com

Sold cars on both. "

Autotrader only works.

Everyone who searches Cars.com also searches Autotrader.com.

Not everyone who searches Autotrader.com searches Cars.com.

1. "2000 BMW M Roadster - $26000, 46K"

perhaps need to lower a price by a grand or two

2. Ad is not written well, it's kinda contradicting itself.

"very fast 2000 BMW ....
Options include Dinan cold air intake, Dinan performance chip, Dinan strut tower brace, Zimmerman cross-drilled rotors"

46K easy freeway miles; never raced. "

very fast, dina chip upgrade... never raced??? are you kidding me?

this sounds like "bull shxx"!

Deemphasized the chip, get rid of "fast", emphasized extra goodies/personalization..

The price is high as are the miles.

Most people looking for a roadster are willing to pay a bit more for an S54.

I like Cars.com because it gives you much more space for pictures, info, ect. It also has some other neat options (you can print sale signs, fliers, bills of sale, ect). But yes, Autotrader online is probably your best bet.

I agree, this car has speed mods... you aren't going to convince many people that it was lightly driven. Whether it really was or not is beside the point.

I would knock the price down. I don't care what book price is, it's 5 years old and has nearly 50k miles. Most people don't like their toys that way.

I agree the price is high. Additionally, many people are nervous buying a car with mods.

Try autotrader, I think he will get more exposure there.

you're asking $26k for a 00 M roadster with 46k miles and wonder why your phone is not ringing???? LMAO ... go to any bmw dealer and get trade-in value for it, that'll tell you why.

I say you should put it back to stock and ebay your performance parts. It very hard to sell a modded car because you appeal to a smaller market. I think the price is kinda high considering it doesn't have the higher output motor.

To tell you the truth $26k for a S52 M Roadster with that much mileage is too much. '00 S52 M Coupes, more desirable and rarer than the M Roadster, might get that price with half the mileage.

Hard to swallow for a car that retailed in the mid '40k new but you're probably looking at the very low 20's at best for that car.

KBB lists your car's private party value at about $20k
