It's a no brainer - M5. M5 is quicker, faster, handles better, sounds better, looks better.

Well I do appreciate all of the feedback. I already have an MY02 M3. But I am really want a 4-door car so it's not a hassle of getting in and out fof my friends when we go out. I also want something that can get me from point A to point B fast and ride in luxury.

Well after looking for some M5s on autotrader an add popped up with the Volvo S60R does anyone have one of these they can share there info on.

Stay away from any Mercedes. My C32 was the worst car I've ever owned. It all started innocently enough but as the months went by and the car stayed more and more time at the dealer. I began to hate the car. Sold it after a year and pretty much told me to never by another MB.

ha! E39 is about the same as the E46 M3 in speed. You pulley a s/c C32 and software, and you'll be low 12's easy + they look good with mods. IMO it's better than the old M5 ; )
