Ha! And here I thought no one was paying attention to little old me!
Congrats man! Ive been having a lot of fun tearing into mine and swapping parts. Really the first time ive had a true "project car". Yours looks minty and stock. Good Luck keeping it that way.
WOW, original tires? Are you sure, I woulda have thought surely they would have turned to dust by now!

Kind of rough that you got it just before winter hit (with a vengeance) in Alberta!

I'm already planning new suspension and wheels, the car truly is a time capsule but I also want to enjoy it and will not hesitate upgrading parts. The car is never going to be worth a ton of money based on the numbers produced so I'm not overtly concerned in that regard. It's funny shopping for 15" wheels in this day and age.
Those are indeed the original Bridgestone SF-325's as the original owner I bought it from never had them replaced!! They are rock hard and drive like that too.

That's friggin awesome man. Isn't awesome how cheap parts and consumables are on these cars? I just picked up an frs and chuckled seeing how much tires cost after owning a vette. Very liberating have a car to just have fun with.

Without a doubt. A set of Bridgestone RE-71R's and wheels that weigh 10 pounds each will cost me about $1000. I love the 'no frills' aspect of this Miata, no A/C or power windows/locks. Wish I had the viscous diff. but will likely upgrade to the Torsen at some point.
