Congrats on your new ride! I like Mazda cars one particular model I enjoyed a lot back then was a 2005, 2.3L, five speed, Mazda Speed 3 Sedan. I read good reviews of the Mazda Speed 6 back then, I think with a good up keep, she will last you a long while. Have fun with it.

Yeah, he is actually quite the Mazda modder and had a wrong setting (can't recall which one) when he was trying to tinker with some stuff (does his own tuning). He ended up selling it to another MS owner who wanted it. Made a good deal on it actually as he is now on his Ducati kick (with 3 bikes) and still has his supercharged NB mx-5.

I always liked the speed6. A co worker had a mildly modded one and I thought of it as a grown up Evo. They are going for good prices in the used market and it should make a great daily. I love the two tone leather interior in the GTs.
