Are you converting to Canadian dollars? I'm not sure how things are priced there, but I thought that for the same car bought in Canada versus the US, it's more expensive in CAN$.

Anyway, no way this thing goes for less than $60K brand new after all the mark up - that's assuming it even makes its way across the pond, which it won't. If the Audi RS3 didn't make it, this thing won't either.

I'm going based on how they price cars over there vs here, in terms of pounds to dollars. It wouldn't matter if I was converting to Canadian dollars - they're worth the same as an American dollar right now. Canadian cars are generally more expensive, though it's slowly changing back to be roughly the same for many vehicles. Audi, for instance, has very close pricing.

Anyways, $60K for a car that's smaller and less powerful than the C63 AMG, for the same money? Not happening! I stand by my $45K price estimate, if it comes over here.

I agree. Price in GB Pounds compared to cars in US in dollars is generally only 15% to 20% more. Not the 1.6 exchange rate.

Of course if it doesn't come here it's all academic, but it seems like it would be closer to $50K than $60K.
