this might push the price of the 675LT to a more "reasonable" level... New NSX or used 675LT? I know which one I'll chose.

Real world prices on a new NSX and a used 675LT won't intersect for years. No one's paying anywhere near $200K for a new NSX (if they're at all savvy when it comes to negotiation) and a 675LT isn't going to be at $180K (what a fully loaded NSX will go for, new, to a semi-sentient buyer) for quite some time yet...

While it has all been really impressive, they are just unicorns to me. I don't ever see ever paying over $80k for a new car realistically. Wait, hold on...…. let me check my ticket!

JonBoy, NSX, discount? is this real life?

I have been looking (more like dreaming). Saw one 675LT for $220K locally (likely highest mile in the US. now sold). they dropped about 100K in the past 2 years. Hopefully another 100K in the next 3-4 years. Now we are talking.

you say that now.
a couple of pay raises later and seeing that bank account growing fatter, you might just change your mind.
in college I thought people who pay >30K for a car are dumb. How wrong was that?

The 675LT doesn't compete with the NSX. Neither does the 650S or the 720S. The 570 does, and it's what the NSX should have been (IMO).

Biggest draw back with McLaren is lack of dealers and dealerships that are not on same turn around schedule as more common marques for repairs.

They have put a hurting on Ferrari and Ferrari has responded with increased quotas and future portfolio. I'd like to own a McLaren some day, but the dealership is like an hour or so drive from my house.

Perhaps. But I spent $110k in the last 5 years for the two cars I have. And I really felt that was just too much to spend. I'd rather have more left over each month to do other things.

I have the new car itch, but if I had $80k, I split it between a Miata RF with one of next gen 3 series Xdrive or Wrangler Rubicon combo instead of just one car. The Cayman stays under any scenario.

I would love to do another ED, and I see Audi dropped their program. Oh well. The only way I would spend $80k on my next car would be if the BMW G20 3 series M3 has AWD/RWD selectability like the M5 so I could use it in a blizzard and not smashing my investment.

(if the price of the 675LT comes down to 150-175K)
a guy has a year-end bonus. He wants to rewards himself after all that hard work with a nice car. He's going to look at all exotics at that price and sees which is the best fit.
570S (new)
NSX (new)
911GT3 (new)
675LT (used)
488 (used)
etc...
