To answer someone's question "whats the difference between S430 and S500"
S430 is 275 hp, and S500 is 302 hp. That's about it.
Steve got the AWD version to that, will deffinately need it in the winter.
Steve, these cars have a loooong history of computer problems. Right now, we have a ML430 and a S500 in the family, and both of them have been serviced for a mysterious Check Engine Light numerous times (under warranty). That's about it. Make sure you change the oil every 8-10k miles, and this car will last you a lifetime.
(Oh, and just in case your nav/radio stops responding or just freezes, and then when you turn your car off, and then on again, it doesn't work anymore, change the radio fuse. This has also happened on both of our cars)
