Mitsubishi EVO X
We've seen Mitsubishi's Concept-X, giving us a very good indication as to what the future Lancer-based Evo X will look like. But here are the first pictures of an Evo X mule running at speed at the Nuerburgring in Germany.
The new Evo X will share a platform with the new Dodge Caliber, Mitsubishi's Outlander and Chrysler's next-generation PT Cruiser.
With over 300 horsepower, the Evo X will be powered by a four-cylinder turbocharged MIVEC 2.0-liter engine, mated to a six-speed clutchless transmission. Other features include steering-wheel paddle-shift controls, and an improved AWD system.

inaccurate info. the new X will have its chassis, the 4g is dead, SMG will be an option, and the car will look nothing like that. we have received some schematics on the new X. none of the chassis parts have anything in common with chrysler.

the car pictured is most likely just a test mule for the new motor setup. the X is totally new from the ground up. misty supposedly re-engineered bimmers SMG so hopefully it will be good. a 6sp is standard. rumors have the car at 330hp, but i would expect 300 or so. the awd system has been redone and now features AYC, and VSR(variable steering ratio) much like the the type V s2k. mits aimed the car at the ///M3 so we'll see what the US market gets, but expect the evo10 to be a very badass machine!
