Cool MotorTrend tests RS4 vs C63 vs M3

http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/sedans..._car_comparison

1st place: BMW M3
Driver's choice for fantastic agility, tenacious cornering grip, sky-splitting road thunder.

2nd place: Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG
Class, poise, thrills to spare and the racer's choice--almost the perfect stormer.

3rd place: Audi RS4
All-weather crowd-pleaser, ready for action, M3-fast; maybe just a bit too predictable.

Where are those dudes that were sure the C would win one of these comparos???

Y2k, If the RS4 beat the IS-F, I dont think it could overcome the others.

The IS F wasn't in the comparo because a test car in Europe wasn't available at the time.

If I listened to Edmunds tests, I would be forced to throw up posts like you so I'll wait for a real test by a real magazine that can out up IS-F numbers faster then a stock IS350.

Oh, I'm not denying is faster than the stock IS350. I'm just saying it might not win the other comparos for a few reasons.

you do realize that some magazines have faster times because they don't run atmospheric corrections on their numbers thus their numbers are raw and therefore "faster." it's really not as simple as you're making it out to be.

The only reason the IS-F wasn't included because it WASN'T available where they tested those cars (in Europe), and still isn't. Period! Edmunds found it "too hardcore". Irrelevant to other magazines and other testers' preferences as well.

I believe the IS-F could kick some of those asses on a track.

Car & Driver does, and they drive the cars hard, while taking the average of the best times.
