Default Muscly/sports coupe for 4k-7k$

Sup guys...

So I'm loving my new to me Miata but I'm wondering if I should pick up another car that is the opposite of a Miata (heavy/solid feel car)

(I have no intentions to sell the Miata. I just want another car to drive when its not top down weather)

Requirements...
1. RWD
2. Stick
3. Moderately reliable. Doesn't have to be honda-reliable but can't be super expensive to fix.

I see Camaro z28s which is 6-7000$ but I think base Camaros would be fine too.
I've never driven one but sounds like fun!

Datsun 240z or 280z. Muscular and lighter weight.

I had a 1988 BMW 325. It wasn't very fast, but a great solid car. Mine was an automatic, but the manual cars weren't too slouchy.

If you can find an LS1 car that would be great, might have higher miles though.

I don't want to be that guy that gives more advice than what you asked for, but I think one overall fun car is more fulfilling than 2 cars that you have to settle for because of your budget. just my .02

E36 BMW 3 Series fits your requirements and price range.

V8 Camaros are great choices too. They are much more fun to drive than most people give them credit for.

Yeah. I'm always thinking about how stupid I'm being when I bought a 16 year old car for 3500$ as opposed to using that as a down payment on a nice ap1v2 s2k.

On the other hand, I like not having payments and paying peanuts on insurance.

Also, I've always wanted two cars just so I have an option every time I wanna drive some place.
Lol sounds childish I guess...

How expensive are parts/maintenance on the e30/36 BMW?

Ls1 fbodies are a great choice, lt1s aren't too bad either. You may also be able to find some mid to late 90s cobras.
I've ben looking down this path as well, nothing really gets me excited although those are solid performance cars.
I'm with you though, no payments and cheap insurance is quite nice.

Get an ss camaro or a z28. My buddy has an ss. He bought it for only $8,000 with only 70k miles. Those 350's are great motors and enough powerful enough to make anyone smile
