Default My 1964 VW Double Cab

Got this couple months ago but it needed a new motor which has now been installed. Goofy as hell to drive but lots of attention... and it looks pretty cool.... not as thrilling as a Viper thread but I'm poor now...

That is definitely very cool. I'll bet you're mobbed when you fill it up.

Very kool.

Steered wheels under your butt is a weird feeling for sure. At first. Be careful of the rear wheel drive and snap oversteer.

Thanks all!!!

yes, sitting on top of the wheels is wild...zero chance of surviving a front end colission

Snap Oversteer... ahhaha... #50horsepower

I do get lots of questions when i drive it...

The forward crumple zone is your legs... I'd feel much safer on a motorcycle... haha

Can you fit Tas-T in the pickup bed and then drive up a steep hill? That's what I want to know.

What was in your head when you bought this? I get that it's "cool" but it's also sloooooooow, old, needed a new motor, etc. Given your past vehicle history, it seems a very odd choice.

Cool factor? Just wanted something different? Chick magnet? Under the influence?
