My 1999 Swift
#22
Swift was one of the champ car chassis manufacturers back in the late 90's. They were definitely raced, though I don't remember any of the top teams using this chassis. Reynard and Lola were the top choices. The engines would have been either a Honda, Toyota, Ford, or Mercedes-Ilmor turbo V8. The hole on the top of the chassis behind the driver is where the turbo blow off valve goes. They had sequential transmissions, though they were not paddle shift.

And I foolishly thought you were talking about a Swift FF or F2000/FC.
You should check out the Big Boar car section of ApexSpeed.com. Lots of very smart people there who can help you service, repair and even drive the thing. Cars like that are not for the faint of heart!

VG as in the motor from the 300zx? You'll need a lot of custom work for a single turbo application. I don't know what transmission you plan on using, but the OEM 5spd is good for 198mph [auto 202] and a stock 300zx is good for 170+ with the limiter deactivated in the ECU.
