My apartment neighbors spend money on cars
I moved into a new apartment builing in Orange County, CA not long ago. There are fewer than 40 cars in the underground parking, but there's a long list of desirable machines:
Ferrari California
Audi R8
7 AMG Mercedes, including a CLK63 Black Series and a CLS63 Twin Turbo
BMW X6 M
2 911s (996 Anniversary, 997 Carrera S)
I wouldn't have expected such nice cars, given that the apartment units are not that expensive. I guess folks in SoCal don't skimp on their cars.

Dang, that is an impressive list of cars... you sure those units are inexpensive?

Is that their only property? I know in my building in NYC units run around $450k-$1 Mil. With tons of gorgeous cars. But many of the tenants have houses out in CT or Long Island.

thats because more cities in orange county people try way to hard to one up each other. Its all about status and being a fake persona that really isnt yourself. Cant stand Newport Beach Irvine wannabe rich fake fuks. Daddies leasing Lexus is250's and 328is for their 17 yeard old daughter going to community college. Rich Asians and persians in giant SL500's and 745I's and cant even freaking drive.

Do I sense jealousy? How would you know they're leased? Irvine has a average household income of $107,546. And the last time I been to Irvine, they had way more courteous drivers than LA or NYC

My condo complex (106 units, Florida) is a bit more expensive than that, we only have 1 R8 cab, 2 newer Jags and a few e-class benzes, (But I know for a fact the R8 is leased as well as one of the Jags so they don't count anyway.). Californians have a different set of values than the rest of the country and Orange County folks probably spend quite a bit more time in their cars than the people in my county so I'd imagine cars are more important to them.

That's nothing you should go to glendale in CA. Bunch of Armenians with bmws, Benz, audi, and porsches with the occasional matte black or red infiniti g37 coupes (fixed up of course). My buddy is Armenian and told me that's all they would ever buy. Idk y but it has something to do with status and showing off in public. Not hating by the way. If you can afford it then go for it
