I remember we used to drag on the strips with crowds of people. Cops would come
Everyone would flee and just meet at the next spot. Rinse and repeat. Back in the day when people actually raced. Now here if u go to meets all u see is Subaru's for miles with all their camber and the occasional pick up truck that has to be an asshole and do burn outs. Or the Spanish people that gotta play their music obnoxiously loud.

"Period correct" means that you're using parts that would have been used back when the car was relatively new. So you wouldn't use a modern wheel design on a 20 year old car - you'd use a 20 year old wheel design, manufactured by a company that was commonly used to modify the vehicle in question.
