Mine has been great on street and track. Mine performed great at the hpde I took it to in November.

I also have the ls1 with ls6 intake manifold. Puts down 340rwhp.

Great thread! I've thought greatly about an LSx FD but ended up with an 08 z51 Vette. Love these engines After about 6 months of ownership I still don't see much need to modify it as it already pulls great in stock form and has torque everywhere; can't quite imagine what trapping 130mph and turning/handling is like in an FD chassis - my biggest gripe with the Vette is driver involvement and steering feel; and I'm sure the FD is a real blast in those regards.

I've had a MY2000 Subaru Impreza coupe with a USDM STi engine swap - it passed smog and got OK'd at the ref station (got pulled over for a modified exhaust lol) - and I live in Southern California. AFAIK as long as the engine itself is not some JDM stuff running weird smog components you will be fine - it's the main reason I went with the USDM STi motor.

I don't see any reason an LSx FD wouldn't be street legal in CA, unless I'm missing something.

At the Texas Mile a couple of months ago it did 150.9 in the 1/2, 184.8 in the mile.

185mph! That is awesome!

Slow. We (builder/PO and myself) weren't launching it hard. 2.05 60', 11.69 ET. With appropriate tires and someone who knows how to drive, could be in the 10s at 130+, I think...

I don't have the dyno in front of me but it was around 340 as well.
