Default My two cars s2k/ms3

I love both of my cars. My s2000 is pretty much stock and I love the car. Its not fast by any stretch but I love its reliability, looks, and feel. I could turbo charge it but I'm having an extremely hard time justifying adding forced induction to the car cause I don't want to end up chasing the rabbit so to speak and sacrificing the reliability of the car. However, when I think about running the turbo I have on my ms3 (PTE 5557) on my s2000, I get a huge grin. My ms3 is a blast drive, I need to get the sucker on the rollers again but last time i dynoed it, it made 420whp untuned (28psi). Its now running 35psi, tuned, with a 50 shot of nitrous. The torque on that car feels amazing. The motor in the ms3 isn't as stout or efficient as the f20 or f22 but the clutch and transmission are solid (Im still using a stock clutch/transmission). By the way, if anyone reading this is from Houston with a turbocharged s2k I'd like to go for a spin to see if I should turbo charge mine.

Presumably, as a result of the unrelenting torque steer from your 420hp FWD MS3, you've encountered quadriplegia and will now have to sell both cars.

Your only real viable option at this point -- buy an E30 M3.

i used to have an MS6. nice to see one of the DISI motors put together correctly more info on your set up?

and the stock clutch is quite believable. I must have had over 100 launches on mine easily when I had it, never slipped once while racing, auto-xing, or dd'ing. Mazda actually made a pretty stout tranny....the axles not so much

The wheels came with the car when I bought it. Not that these are baller wheels but I do have a set of 18" enkei ekm3 wheels I'm going to put on after I wear this set of tires out.

Details on the ms3

pauter rods/cp pistons, std compresssion 9.5:1, std. bore
100% methanol injection
PTE 5557, 28 psi untuned-> 35psi tuned
50 wet shot of nitrous

These videos of the ms3 were taken pre-nitrous, pre-tune

I haven't read in too much detail about turbocharging an s2k but if i did I would like to run blow through maf over speed density.

Nice MS3. I got to drive one from Socal to Seattle and back, and I loved it. 3rd gear pulls FTW.
