Need your opinion
Bottom line: stationed in korea and have the opportunity to buy one of two cars.
I'm looking at a DC2 type r or skyline from japan.
I'm not sure of the model yet but looking like a R33 gts25t or if I'm lucky a R33 GTR.
Both cars will have about 70-100k kilometers on the odo(equates to about 45-60k miles) and will be in decent to good condition (no accidents/damage).
I've owned a prelude and currently a s2000(in the states) so I'd feel a lot more comfortable with the ITR reliability wise (since I have little knowledge on identifying/fixing problems myself). Anyone have any insight/opinions on the skyline (reliability/maintenance wise)?
Also, price wise the gts25t will run about the same as the ITR and the GTR will be about 3-4k more. All opinions and feedback welcome. Thanks in advance.

If you get the skyline make sure to get plenty of baby wipes to clean the ricer spooge off your car after every time you park it.
I guess I'd say Skyline too since I've never driven one. Here's one to the false exoticism of recommending a car simply because I cannot try one readily here.

Although Skyline would be more Unique and rare to own, I would pick Type R. It would be much easier to find parts for the Type R, then the GT-R. I think it would be more hassle to get things fixed and or getting aftermarket parts for it. Maybe it will worht the trouble just to get the GT-R, but you will also have to register it in US standard. It will be more difficult for the GT-R and because US has RSX here, it will be much much easier to convert it to the US spec.
