People driving moderately large/big SUVs aren't exactly worrying about gas mileage. If they were, most would buy minivans.

I don't buy that. I think MPG/green cars are something to brag about now. It's becoming noveau. I think that's pretty obvious, and this is a trend I actually like.

im with Jon boy.. my parents are 1st generation indian and they could car less about fuel economy, they car about prestige and looks. All we ever get are bmws and hondas. We have a minivan but all it does is sit on the driveway growing weeds. The higher the price tag and prestige the more mpg doesnt make a difference. Also my parents own business so they write it off sometimes
