Old news. Porsche won't get rid of the manual as long as there's a demand for it. I purchased a 2013 Carrera S last month w/ a manual. Love the 7 speed.
Hands down best car I've ever owned. So well balanced. 991 is simply just beautiful to look at. Exhaust note just sounds amazing.

^Jealousy running through my veins.
Those wheels look much better than the ones I have seen.
My theory is there should be no automatic transmissions in your garage until you reach a certain age say maybe 65 or 70 years old.
Front - 9 x 20 ET51 - 245/35 ZR 20
Rear - 11.5 x 20 ET68 - 305/30 ZR 20
vs. the Classic/Carrera S 20" wheels
Front - 8.5 x 20 ET51 - 245/35 ZR 20
Rear - 11 x 20 ET70 - 295/30 ZR 20
Sport Techno runs wider tires. I didn't like the Classic wheels and the S wheels looked a bit plain. Plus the added width was a benefit.
Close up. 20" wheels make the six piston calipers look tiny.

I don't have any pictures of the interior, yet. But you know where the reverse gear is? How you've got to go way to the left and up? It's the opposite for the 7th gear. Way to the right and up. It's not obtrusive by any means. Has enough grunt and civility for highway driving. Down shifting to sixth is pretty natural. Throws are a bit longer than the S2000 but very precise.
Manufacturer photo but you get the idea.
