I'd say it's pretty well disguised. You barely get a sense for the overall shape, let alone the details. It's still pretty obvious it's a BMW, but the camo is a mixture of Aston, Volvo, Jag and more. It does look bigger.

why can't the miata look this good? even in serious disguise you can see it's going to look nice in the end.

Keep in mind, they are talking about bringing back the Z8. Though it is planned to be a hardtop convertible competing with the Sl, this might be an early mule, for the engine at least.
It is hideous though. Looks like a bulbous, unfinished ,all terrain vehicle. Looks a machine at BMWs plant threw up on top of a Z4 chassis.

it's heavily disguised. there is not one panel that is visible on the car that is the actual body panel of the car. i think the manufacturer purposely disguised it to make it look hideous. btw, isn't bmw supposed to come out with a Z2 roadster?? maybe that's what that car is. some of you guys say the car looks larger than the current Z4, but to me it looks small like a miata.

Good lord, it is like another Z4 which has to be one of the most hideous looking cars ever made.

I honestly do not dig one bit BMW's approach to vehicle styling in the last few years. Another Bangle screwup.

i disagree...of course i'm in the minority but i love the z4 m coupe.
