New Car

This was the whole deal... Keep in mind a week or two from Christmas is the best time to buy a car on the lot.
MSRP was 61.5K.
I owed 5 payments remaining on the XE at $640 (Jaguar does a 3 month "pull back" on a lease trade as credit to the JLR dealer)
Volvo gave me a check for the remaining payments and discounted the car about $7500 (GM at Volvo did the finance on our XE when he worked at my local JLR dealer). I bought tire/rim insurance for the length of lease.
Lease is 39 month with $3,200 down (includes tire/rim in down payment) $690 a month. Volvo includes all scheduled service.

Also, on the potential reliability issues (probably mostly unfounded), you are right in that loaner car miles don't count, so take it into the shop all the time!

Congrats on the new ride. Nice car. Volvo has among the best interiors in the industry.
Not for me as for a myriad of reasons, I just wont spend that much money and let the profits go to China. I try to avoid sending money that way when I have the choice.

Just got the front windows tinted at 35% which is the legal limit in MA. It's with a ceramic tint that has two layers of ceramic to it. Was the best one they offered and matched the privacy windows the best. Can't roll down the windows for a few day.
The car is way high tech. Too much for my taste, but that is what cars are like in 2019

Nice ride. I love that it is twin charged!
Know a good shop for tint in Boston area? How about detailing/clear-bra work?

The sales guy at the Aston dealer uses Eastside Motoring in Waltham. I probably would've used them instead had I thought about it. Eastside does clear bra too.
I'd ask the Aston or Ferrari dealers for detail shop recommendation. I know the Aston dealer has couple of guys on staff that can go as crazy detailing as your wallet is deep. Must be the same at Ferrari.

We looked at a ton of different options when we were searching for something to replace our Mercedes GLE. Really liked the XC60. But decided to go with the Porsche Macan due to its handling advantage.
We drove the XC60 Hybrid. Fast but not sporty. So I think you have the best XC60.
