New daily, 2007 Lexus GS350
2007 Lexus GS350 wit 22,700 miles. Got it for $25k. Elderly owner got sick during ownership and never drove it much. Black/Tan. No navi or mark levinson. I'll start with cons:
CONS:
Dash/center console rattles. Apparently didn't notice this until I had already bought car and started going over bumpy pavement. Googled it and apparently known issue in GS models 2006-2010. Lexus has a noise kit apparently for this issue lol. Who would have thought cars over $50+ would have these issues especially a Lexus. After test driving 2005 Lexus LS previously this was a bigger shocker. I was actually leaning towards LS but wife liked looks of newer GS better and wanted something smaller.
Expecting cabin to more air tight at freeway speeds, I could hear tire roar. It could be the tires being extremely loud though. Original tires still on car which are Dunlop 2030. I'll switch over to Turanza serenity tires.
Small trunk. Due to the shape of the car and having ample leg room for rear passengers, knew trunk would be small but not that small.
PROS:
Low mileage
RWD
303 hp
Nice shape
Comfortable and roomy inside
Overall it's still a quiet cabin
Averaging 22 mpg freeway/city so not bad for a big car.

My 95 year old mother has this car, she bought it new and it has 22,000 miles on it. No issues of any type. She gets close to 18-20 mpg which means she does not go on the freeway, the car is also not driven every day ,and it driven by several drivers (no longer her) like me and my kids.
The 3.5 lt v6 has close to 275 hp and feels fairly quick for what it is. It is quiet and smooth and leans alot in corners.
The interior has held up well, real wood and real leather all over the place.
Cons are the crappy visability/headlights (she did not opt for the hids), less than good mpg(my tl gets 22-24 with a simular engine and hp), and poor visability as to where the rear is (no backup camera).
She did not pay near 50 k for this car, it was closer to 36,000.

The inner edges of the tire frequently go bad on pretty much all lexus sedans (except for the LS) which is where your tire roar is probably coming from. Also, look forward to having random multiple misfires due to the valves getting cloogged up with carbon since it has direct injection. Also, valve springs can break and cam gears will start making noise on startup. There are TSBs out for all of this minus the tire issues i think. I worked at a Lexus dealer for 5 years..
