is it really a fake vent? front engine? maybe it serves another purpose?

Yes, just for cosmetics.

Is as fake as the ones on the AP1 & AP2 front bumper, the ones on the sides.

Unlike the Supra where you have to cut out Sheetmetal, ours are more easily adaptable.

Not the point. They're fake too.

At least the S2k's are simple and easily cut out for brake ducts or another functional purpose. The Supra's are a whole lot of sculpting and bodywork for nothing, and you'd actually have to cut into the door sill sheetmetal to make them functional for something.

Sorry to hear that. I prefer airbags to stay in the dash and not to deploy.

I'd wager 1% of S owners have cut theirs to make them "functional". You guys are whining for the sake of whining.

Don't like the Supra, don't buy one. Pretty bloody simple. At least Toyota is still making sporty cars.

last time I checked the S2000 doesn't have a 2 foot long fake air vent ON THE DOOR, and is made possibly by an obvious trim piece, not part of the door, tacked onto the door.

whining for the sake of whining would have been for the hood's vents. Not this.
