Twin scroll turbo a la BMW, low compression ratio and 274 hp, 34 mpg. That is nuts.

If an SE is $23k, what do you think a turbo version would be, $26k?

The motor actually sounds rather similar in spec and design to the Ecotec turbo (2.0L, twin scroll, DI). With a good turbo setup these I4s might live up to the claims that people had for turbos starting in the 1980s, V6 power, I4 mileage.

I didn't notice the no manual part. I'm no longer interested in the car. That's a bit sour grapes since the lack of a hatchback just about killed it anyway.

Maybe NOW Honda/Acura will stick the turbo in the Accord/TSX...
