i just read through from when you picked up the 996 Turbo. I got a bit nervous when you said "It's been more than three years since I posted to this thread" and was hoping if I kept reading that you sold the GT3 it was only to pick up something even greater, but I was thrilled to read on about building the 4.2. Can't wait to read more on the progress and end result!

Sweet. Any significant wear or issues with the stock 3.8 or are you just ready to make the step up? 997 GT3 with a punched out engine is pretty much my dream car at this point. I just don't know how I would feel about tracking such an amazing and pricey machine.

No issues whatsoever with the motor. I had the means to make it happen and wanted to do so as soon as possible.
