its weird... i remember when the first E90 articles came out BMW was quoted in saying they didn't want to overstyle it (translation: bangle it to death) because it was their bread and butter car and didn't want to alienate traditional 3 buyers. i guess their mottos changed.

are these official photos or just a "photo-illustration" based on some artist's best guess of what it'll look like?

Front looks kinda like the Evo to me.

After the E46, I really haven't liked the designs of the 3-series (well, I guess that means current plus this one).

I think it looks great overall, but the front air dam could use some work.

M3 V8 to be replaced by a twin turbo 6 and electric hybrid drive? Okay, well I don't have any qualms about the twin turbo 6, but for Pete's sake, can we kill off this eco-friendly, "save the world" crap in the enthusiast segment before it even starts? Rumors are the GT-R will go hybrid, the Evo, even Ferrari may be playing with motors soon, now the M3, any concept Honda has shown has been hybrid (if they even make an enthusiast car again anytime soon)....WTF!!

Give the greenies their appliance-like Priuses and such, but can we just keep the enthusiasts' performance cars burning dinosaurs 24/7 like God intended?
