I'd probably get a 2011 ZCP sedan or a vert now with the naturally aspirated motor instead of waiting for the new turbo to come out.

Now I read (I don't have the article and too lazy to go find it, so take this info for whats its value is posted from a stranger on the internet)...

BMW is going to do away with the V8 and go to turbo 6 for the next gen M3. I just don't remember where I read this, magazine, or perhaps a ficticious posting. But look into it before you decide.

I agree with 335is suggested above.

current M3 is came out only 1-2 years ago they are gonna keep that design for at least 4 more years. and moving on to Twin Turbo I-6 and Twin Turbo V8 for M5.

The current-gen BMW M3 will be here for another 3 years.

335iS over an M3? I would never chose that unless I wanted to save $$$ on gas. Why? The 335iS is basically parts that BMW offer in their Performance parts catalog sold altogether.

A BMW M3 would hand the 335iS its ass in every measurable way. The price difference is not too great IMO.

^+1. I'd also take the M3 over the 335iS. The price difference/trade-off at this price range is insignificant IMO.

The coupe iS starts at 50 and the M3 at 55k for the sedan... Pointless to get the iS if the M tres is available for a few more k. Especially if the maintenance is thrown in for the 4/50 period.

Agree, the price difference between the M3 and 335iS isn't large enough for me to want the 335iS.
