I read the RX8 weight of 3500lbs in a few magazines. I just checked Mazda's site and curb weight is the one spec that is suspiciously absent.
But doors and glass are very heavy and it's got more than a lot of both, so it will weigh.
As for serious engine mod potential, that's hardly even a consideration for most new car buyers, me included.
