The car is old and plan was just to get a new tumbler with a new key that only opens that door. TO change the tumbler on an 2004 accord, is it a difficult job? Time consuming?

Both of those aren't the greatest videos but it seems like the would be helpful. This is one of those things I'd probably get a quote from a shop to do the work. They will probably get it done fairly quickly.
Wow. Thank you so much! The help is really appreciated. Do you think that mechanism that they are replacing in Thebes videos needs to be replaced? From what I can tell the assholes only ruined the part where the key goes in.
I have no idea. Does the key still work in the cylinder? If not I expect the part needs to be replaced. If it does then probably not. Does the car have electric locks? If it does you don't really have to replace it you'd just always have to lock and unlock with the remote. I would take it to a shop and have them look at it.
You'll probably need to have the lock recorded to your existing key. Hardest part of the job is taking the door trim off since I'm known for breaking clips and tabs, everything else is pretty straightforward.
I've done the actuator replacement, it's a PITA. But I don't think OP needs to replace the actuator, just the actual lock tumbler in the door handle. The part number is 72181-SDA-A11.
Someone on DriveAccord said they were charged $25 to have the cylinder replaced – that sounds low, but you could try calling around to different body shops to see what they'd charge.
