The one car I’d give my S2000 for...

Okay, if someone dropped a 458 Spider in my lap for my S2000, I might bite.

Ferrari or Aston's V8 really sound different from their V12 brothers; more vicious and fast revving. I wish Ferrari did more to make it sound like something on start up. Aston and Shelby has that one beat.

I got rid of my s2k effectively for a c5z which gas ruined virtually every 4 cylinder car for me. It didnt take a Ferrari.

Trq is nice and fun on the street. But its not everything. C5 is a worthy alternative for the money for any duty street or track though. Its a bit big for me personally, as I think the S hits the sweet spot for balance between high speed stability while great go kart flick ability and fun. Throw a Supercharger on it and its pretty perfect.

Only letdown for me was its interior, bot so much the dash and ugly steering wheel, I got used to it, it's those God awful seats. Swap those, do a double din head unit conversion, and it's as good as a budget car gets.

My ranking for S2k sounds:
ITBs >>>>>> N/A + intake + testpipe >> supercharger
Also, wouldn't trade my S2K at this point - since money is a factor....
If money wasn't a factor, I'd probably go with a different aircooled Porsche build that would be much more cost efficient
