The S2000 is faster around the race track than the ITR, but the Type R is a lot more fun to drive.

If you're talking about non-track driving, function over form for me.

Really. Why is that?

No sarcasm intended, I've just never driven a Type-R.

I haven't driven a Type R, but I can't imagine it being more fun than an S2000 in any circumstance. But then again, some people like fwd more than I do.

Using the gas pedal to induce oversteer is fun. Using the gas pedal to induce understeer, not so much.

I seriously don't know why the thread went beyond this post.

And who chooses between a Vette and a Porsche for car ownership? The vette's build quality is a fraction of that of similar year Porsches. My old '72 914 had better fit and finish than a C6.

X10000

I was driving an S2000 when I decided to try out a Type R for a few months...

It was fun the first few weeks but I started to miss driving the S2000 shortly after.

I remember the smile I had on my face when I bought another S2000 and took my first corner: I never had such a huge grin on my face. I remember saying to myself ''a corner in an S2000 is soooooooo much more enjoyable than one in an ITR''.
