how is this whole JDP thing done to normalize numbers? or is it absolute??
i.e. Lexus sells 10 cars for every 1 car that Porsche sells (or whatever the ratio is).
easier to build one car perfectly, than to build 10.

Buyers generally pay extra for low prod. vehicles (all else being equal), so expectation of higher quality is reasonable.
